Monocline Records is back with a Remix compilation of Re:Axis‘s Warm Line track, wich offers 5 remixes by Kanio, Reagen, Marco Esse, Zecapx, Monokone and the Original mix. Re:Axis is already known for his former releases on Autist, Piso Records and Sammeplatz. In this time Re:Axis shares his samples with 5 great producers from techno/minimal scene to produce a complex & wonderfull journey of deep and groovy sounds. We start with Wam Line the original piece of deep techno mainly composed by these weird and hypnotic subtle melodies mixed with a groovy bass which gives a deep mental atmosphere. Next we have the remix of Kanio, who is known from their releases on Autist & Italo Business, in strong interpretation keeping the mental side of the original and adds a great layer of pumping bass creating a great arrangement. Reagen, from Leftroom explores a deep groovy bass with minimal bleeps and cycle sounds. Marco interepretations combines the original track with a beautiful sense of fun and power creating a bomb to the dancefloor. Zecapx Interpretation with its elastic Groove, exciting arrangement and vast array of percussion samples all gelling together to excellent effect. Monokone is an alter ego of Zentex, he creates music with techno his very own style that is influenced by both his cool and scandinavian funky Latin backrounds. Monokone has a more Dark/Deep style. And this track was more Dub, a typical end of Ep. |

Artist: MIRO PAJIC
Title: FORGOTTEN WORDS
Tracklist:
1.Forgotten Words
2.Forgotten Words (Re:Axis Remix)
3.Forgotten Words (Insideout Remix)
4.Green Vapour
Here we go again!
Miro Pajic in action, presenting the next release with uncompromising character and merciless intensity.
"Forgotten Words", another carrier of epic roughness and futuristic aesthetics, composed with MP's heavy accents.
Big and deep toms command your legs surrounded by bleepy soundscapes, surreal voices and haunting background-choirs from another world. Love it or leave it - but you will remember it!
Of course the main title needed some remix support to present the topic from other views. This time we have 2 different remixes with 2 very different interpretations of the title:
Re:Axis known for a more driving and pumping Minimal Techno doing what they had to do! Power and futuristic funkiness as some might know from their productions. Solid and good!
Remix No.2 is by Insideout from Clink with his beautiful, trippy and deep version that will surely be a find for latenight DJ's around the world! A remix you must like!
Last but not least is "Green Vapour" and it's, of course, as heard in the past months another scary and mean recording that should move any clubber worldwide!

SLEAZE 013 - OUT NOW!
Psyk - Quimic EP - with remixes from Mike Wall, Hobo & Re:Axis!
"Psyk is a very talented young man from Spain. He started his production career in 2008, when his track 'Clown' was featured on Richie Hawtin's "SOUNDS FROM CAN ELLES" M_nus compilation. He was then signed to other well respected labels including Enemy Records, FMBE & Konstructure. We are delighted to unleash his first Sleaze ep, which perfectly demonstrates his unique style of dark, hypnotic minimalism.
First remix is from the wonderful Mike Wall, who we have become a big fan of recently after some impressive releases and remixes on some of our favourite labels. His unmistakable, twisted German techno sound, fits perfectly on this ep! Our second remix is from Minus new boy Hobo (aka Joel Boychuk) who's debut album 'From A To B' was one of our favourite album releases on Minus in years. Final remix on this outstanding package comes from Portuguese minimal techno duo Re:Axis."
This release has already gained huge support from Richie Hawtin, Magda, Martin Eyerer, Xpansul, Ambivalent, Let's Go Outside, Shin Nishimura and many more.

Soniculture Unlimited 004 brings us two of today’s most exciting
portuguese techno producers in just one package. Re:Axis are
known for their releases on labels such as Autist, Piso,
Sammeplatz and their very own Monocline records, while
Thinkfreak has been doing incredible stuff on Soniculture. Bring
on the minimal action…let’s have maximal fun.
Kicking off with “It’s never late to return”, Re:Axis create a dark
and hypnotic atmosphere, shooting elaborate, fine tuned sounds in
several directions. Every fresh listening experience brings us a
new perspective as if we look at it in a different angle. Works also
perfectly on the dance floor as does “I can not believe”, with its
groovy bass line, that makes it less serious and more fun. The
plethora of sounds is still present, in different shapes and sizes,
and everything becomes even more interesting. “Mechanical
Instinct” contains a bit of both previous tracks…dance floor
oriented, but also dark and hypnotic, it merges the views explored
by the other two into a new original composition.
The featured remix in this package is performed by Thinkfreak,
who has been releasing regularly on Soniculture since the famous
“Human Error” (Soniculture 004). The rework he performed on
“Mechanical Instinct” keeps it hypnotic but adds a bit more
punch and a new assortment of fresh ideas.
Feedbacks:
Alec Troniq (Ipoly Music | Microtonal) – “#1 has a nice mystic feeling, but it'snot actually a bomb. #2 is peppy! very functional.. works. #3 similar opinion #4 works, too. A good release for many dancefloors. But for my taste I am missing some musical content. Anyway.. good work”
Alex Flatner (Harthouse) – “I can not Believe is the right Track for me...nice !!”

Donk Boys (Frankie | Siteholder) – “nice blippy number!”
Dubfire (Sci + Tec) – “Download”
Exercise One (Mobilee | Lan Musik) – “Love the darkness !'It's never late to return' is the track for me - although all cuts are fine tunes. Good release !”
Kanio (Novakane) – “Thanks guys nice tracks “

For MONOCLI19 release , Monocline Records presents three open minded tracks from Miss Sunshine, a very talented producer from Croatia, with a unforgettable remix by Re:Axis .Miss Sunshine is a deity of techno that commands attention while performing and beyond doubt one of the biggest electronic music fan. Always had an interest in music, but her passion for it evolved back in 1995, when she started to frequent the underground techno parties. She was perfectly placed to hear Balkan electronic music in its earliest forms. She began her journey on the radio show “Clubhopping” (together with Loki Masa), the first “on air” electronic music experience in the area at that time and landed a prime residency at the Oxygene club in 1999 which led into a two year residency at Vega club. She played at the the serial of partys “Drumatica” together with big names of techno scene like Bone, Valentino Kanzyani, Jel Ford, Funk D.. Void, Gayle San and many more. Through her DJ sets or her productions on labels like Manual Music, Stolen Moments, Empro Music, Kaseta Music Records or Aciitone, Miss Sunshine unifies perceptions of open minded people in her graceful sense for sounds and minimal tones, strengthened with solid tech grooves and the love of challenging music without boundaries.

For the 20th Release Monocline Records presents to you a very special release created arround a track from the mastermind Qik. The release starts with the original track created from Qik and end with 3 differents aproachs from Gurtz , Re:Axis and Tam. QiK begun his techno ride in 2003 when he got into minimal sound. Having been involved with synthesizers and samplers in many musical projects since late ..80 s and always searching for his own roots and an authentic musical expression, he dove into sound programming and sample techniques using noise, field recordings and ethnic sounds as raw material. In 2004 alongside Pablo Denegri and Milena Pafundi he founded Tekhne, an experimental audio/visual collective. Playing in small clubs, galleries and experimental events they had a chance to show their concept about live A/V performing : real improvisation over digital noise textures, unconventional beats, and abstract video loops. Continously developing his sound during 2006 and encouraged by his mate Sebastian Galante aka Seph he released his first ep as QiK, on the prestigious argentine label Igloo-rec.

"Soniculture is proud to present volume one of the remix project for Billy Dalessandro's "Polis" album, and what a release this is, with overwhelming versions from a selection of the hottest techno producers around.
Beginning with the master of Berlin techno, Alexander Kowalski offers us a passionate and emotional version of "Only your touch". Being so perfectly produced, there is not much to say. On the contrary, we should listen to it over and over again and enjoy it continuously.
Elias Landberg, the swedish producer that has already released before on Soniculture together with Anders Jacobson or as Chordian, ventures on a solo mission to make a rough and naughty version of "Call Girl". Using a tape recorder to make it even dirtier, he takes it down to the ghetto Detroit style.
From the outstanding french techno producer, Nhar, who released "Derceto" on Soniculture 013, comes an acid version of "Nanomachines". He transformed the original making everything more involving, hypnotic and dark. A great contribution from one of the most interesting new artists of the current techno scene.
From Portugal, Monocline's Re:Axis worked on "Inebriate" and did what they do best, taking a more minimal approach, with attention to fine detail and an exemplary work on sound design. This is a great sequel to their previous "Return" EP on Soniculture Unlimited 004, demonstrating how talented and original they can be.
Stay tuned for "Polis - The remixes" volume 2, with remixes from Exercise One, Jason Emsley, Brian Ffar and Thinkfreak."

"This Resopal release comes from portugese duo Re:Axis. On their stunning Infinite Control EP the porto based guys carve out a sound which sends the dormant slinky syncopations of minimal 4/4 techno, via delay and reverb, into a padded cell of cushioned, muffled bass, passing through the best of finest, crackling dub. Wow !! Two original tracks and an outstanding re:interpretation by berlin based Croon Inc. His mix comes across as a straightforward, hypnotic techno angle - turned into a neat dance floor track. All you wanna do is nod your head to the beat to forget where you are. And of course, the berlin / portugal connection is a welcome revival of the old Detroit-Berlin axis where techno meets deepness !"
